Indiana has a health crisis regarding infant and maternal mortality. States that, like Indiana, have chosen to let the government into the doctor's office are failing in those same areas. Great OBs and Nurse Practitioners are now forced to engage with the STATE when a mother's life is in danger. Furthermore, the average anti-choice voter often doesn't understand conditions like anencephaly or ectopic pregnancies. Lastly, I will not stand by and have any government force a 10 year old child to deliver a child. Indiana's Attorney General, Todd Rokita, made it clear that he wants children to bear children.
